ENG 078 English Basics

(Contact Hours: 3) This course teaches students the basics of the writing process, including parts of speech, grammar and punctuation, sentence structure, outlining, and paragraph development. Students completing this course with at least a 2.0 are prepared to enter ENG 098 or ENG 099. PREREQUISITE: Writing and Reading -- minimum benchmarks will be enforced.
