ART 150 Calligraphy & Hand Lettering

(Contact Hours: 3) In this course students will become familiar with the development of Western caligraphy from Roman capitals through present day trends in the lettering arts. Students will learn to differentiate between major historical styles through lecture, demonstration, and hands-on studio assignments. PREREQUISITE: Writing and Reading -- minimum benchmarks will be enforced.
