DHY 129 Clinical Dental Hygiene I
(Contact Hours: 10) This is a seminar/clinical course implementing the basic principles of routine dental hygiene care. The student will be introduced to additional risk assessments for the patient care plan and additional preventive products and procedures. The clinical experience will emphasize competency in oral examination procedures and in the treatment of clients with a diagnosis of health to gingivitis. PREREQUISITE: Successful completion of DHY 111, DHY 113, DHY 114, and DHY 119 is REQUIRED.
