Physical Education, AA

Physical education is the study of maintaining the human body through physical exercise and motor development. The study encourages psychomotor learning in a play or movement exploration setting to promote health.

This program is designed for students who intend to transfer to a four-year college or university. Requirements may be updated prior to the start of the Fall 2022 semester. Students completing this program should consult a counselor or advisor to develop their degree plan and for registration advice.

Transfer Notes: The physical education major is one of several options for teacher certification. Some university bachelor’s degree programs offer dual teacher certification in both physical education and health education.
