Kalamazoo Valley offers several different drafting programs designed to put students to work in entry-level positions, to complete an associate degree, and/or to transfer to another college or university. From entry-level drafting to advanced design projects, Kalamazoo Valley’s programs cover mechanical design, tool design, mold design, AUTOCAD, SolidWorks, REVIT, Inventor, and ProEngineer software for designing and drafting in the mechanical, industrial, and architectural areas. Supporting the design level courses are classes in metallurgy, statics and strengths of materials, hydraulics, and technical report writing.
