BUS 242 Word Processing Applications
(Contact Hours: 4) This course will expand the student's understanding of information processing through further study of principles, practices, and systems. Emphasis will be placed on advanced and complex operations of MS Word. Students will produce documents typical of an information processing setting such as desktop publishing utilizing graphic and text integration. Both hands-on applications and lecture/discussion will take place in this course. PREREQUISITE: Writing and Reading -- minimum benchmarks will be enforced. BUS 109 or BUS 103, BUS 121, BUS 160, working knowledge of MS Windows environment and familiarity with the Internet is recommended.
