DHY 251 Ethics, History, Jurisprudence
(Contact Hours: 1) The student learns the history of dental hygiene, the importance of ethical standards in the practice of dental hygiene, and the methods of analyzing the legal and political factors controlling dental hygiene practice. The student will acquire skills necessary for assuming professional leadership. PREREQUISITE: Successful completion of DHY 241, DHY 242, DHY 244, DHY 248, and DHY 249 is REQUIRED. Corequisite: DHY 256, DHY 258, and DHY 259 are recommended.
