BUS 245 Intro/International Business

(Contact Hours: 3) This course serves as an introduction to global business and its complex environment. Students taking this course will develop an understanding of relevant differences in the economic, socio-cultural, political, legal, and ethical environment of global business. In addition, students will realize how such differences can influence business functional operations such as production, marketing, management, information management, accounting, and finance. Finally, students will be familiar with the additional risks inherent to the conduct of international business, particularly foreign exchange risk. PREREQUISITE: Successful completion of BUS 101 and BUS 105 is REQUIRED.
