BIO 140 Principles of Microbiology
(Contact Hours: 6) This is a basic microbiology course that introduces science majors to the principles of microbiology. Lecture and discussion sessions present the principles of microbiological morphology, physiology, reproduction, and pathology. Laboratory exercises develop standard microbiology lab skills in the identification, culture, control, and assay of microorganisms. PREREQUISITE: Successful completion of BIO 101 is REQUIRED.
