PHI 201 Introduction/Philosophy

(Contact Hours: 3) This is an examination of fundamental philosophical problems and concepts presented through the study of selected major philosophers and representative works. It is the study of the traditions of thought in the Western World from Plato to the present. PREREQUISITE: Writing -- SAT: 32, Accuplacer: 105, NextGen Accuplacer: 265, ACT: 25, COMPASS: 84, or ENG 110 or ENG 160 is REQUIRED. Reading -- minimum benchmarks will be enforced.
