PHI 204 Symbolic Logic
(Contact Hours: 3) This course is an introduction to quantitative reasoning. Topics include the origins and conventions of symbolic logic, methods of deduction and quantification theory, and the application of skills learned in quantitative argument. PREREQUISITE: Writing -- SAT: 32, Accuplacer: 105, NextGen Accuplacer: 265, ACT: 25, COMPASS: 84, or ENG 110 or ENG 160 is REQUIRED. Reading -- minimum benchmarks will be enforced.
