BREW 206 Brewery Ops
(Contact Hours: 6) This advanced level lab course will cover brewery science through hands-on instruction at our on-campus brewing lab facilities. Students will explore the complexities of the brewing process; develop an advanced brewing recipe; learn brewery safety, sanitation, and organization; delve into sustainable brewery plant design; and gain an understanding of the common operations and technologies utilized in these processes. Lab content in this course will cover topics discussed in the corresponding lecture course, BREW 205. PREREQUISITE: Successful completion of or concurrent registration in BREW 205 is REQUIRED.
