COM 230 Group Communication

(Contact Hours: 3) This course introduces students to group communication process through an examination of theory and research, and the practical application of decision making, problem solving, conflict management, leadership, and critical thinking skills in the everyday group experiences. Individuals will work together in groups learning to communicate competently, make effective decisions, reach solutions to problems, analyze group communication dynamics, and write and present group reports. PREREQUISITE: Writing and Reading -- minimum benchmarks will be enforced.
