ENG 217 Science Fiction
(Contact Hours: 4) This course explores the themes which shape the content of science and/or speculative fiction and relate the genre to those universals which are embodied in all good literature. In addition the course examines the ways in which speculative fiction illuminates the human condition and seeks solutions to society's present and future problems. PREREQUISITE: Writing and Reading -- minimum benchmarks will be enforced. ENG 110 is recommended.
