ENG 219 Short Stories
(Contact Hours: 4) This class is an introduction to the study of the short story. Throughout the readings in this class, the elements of the short story will be critically evaluated, and the structure and meaning of the short story will be analyzed. By the end of the course students should have an understanding of this genre and its literary development. PREREQUISITE: Successful completion of ENG 110 or ENG 160 is REQUIRED.
