MATH 152 Trigonometry

(Contact Hours: 3) This course includes topics covering the six trigonometric functions as defined on the rectangular coordinate system, a right triangle, or the unit circle. Other topics include radian measurement, right and oblique triangles, trigonometric identities and equations, and graphs of trigonometric functions and their inverses. A graphing calculator is required for this course; a TI-83 or TI-84 is highly recommended. PREREQUISITE: Writing and Reading -- minimum benchmarks will be enforced; and Math -- SAT: 29.5, ALEKS: 61, Accuplacer (College Level): 60, NextGen Accuplacer (Advanced Algebra): 240, ACT: 26, COMPASS (Algebra): 79, or MATH 150 is REQUIRED.
