BREW 105 Intro to Brewing
(Contact Hours: 3) This introductory level lecture course will cover the basics of the brewing process and raw materials. Students will explore the art and science of beer making; develop a basic brewing recipe; learn the fundamentals of safety, sanitation, and organization; delve into the core ingredients of beer (malt, hops, and yeast); and gain an understanding of the common operations and technologies utilized in these processes.
