(Contact Hours: 3) This introductory level lecture course will cover beverage science. Students will explore the history, culture, and modern industry of fermentation; develop skills in customer service and taproom management; delve into basics of sensory science, various beer styles, and the field of food pairing; and gain an understanding of the common operations and technologies utilized in these processes.
