Sustainable Brewing, CERT

This certificate program concentrates on advanced concepts of beer brewing. Building on the sustainable brewing certificate of achievement, this hybrid course of study will provide students with advanced training in sustainable brewery science, operations, and technology. Online courses will instruct students in the science and theory of beer brewing. In-person lab courses will teach students technical skills through hands-on experience in our on-campus brewing lab facilities. An all online option is available for students with sufficient related industry experience. Students seeking the all online option should contact the Prior Learning Assessment Office for further information. This program will equip students with the level of knowledge and technical skills needed for various entry-level jobs within the brewing industry with opportunities for educational and career advancement. For students wishing to continue their education, requirements for this certificate also qualify as an area of concentration in the occupational/technical studies associate of applied science.
